seating guests at reception

hi

we are writing out cards to tell guests which table to sit at during our reception.  do we include our dj, photographer, and video guy since they do technically have places to sit?  if so, how do we address their cards?

Your paid vendors don't sit with the guests.  They will be working.

Uum, not to sounds like a jerk, but I sincerely hope your DJ knows where he/she is sitting...and typically the photographer and videographer sit at the bar to eat, or have a table in another area.  Maybe check your contract over to see if they request anything specific, and just to be sure, call them. 
My photographer prefers to work straight through, so while we will of course offer to feed her, she says she doesn't eat on the job.

Those people tend to try to stay out of the way when they take their break. They know they are not part of your celebration and act as such. The DJ typically takes a plate and runs back to his equipment. The photog will probably eat wherever s/he can find a spot.

Our venue has offers special meals for vendors and has a room off to the side where they can eat and take breaks.
