I'm going to have almost totally matching BMs. They've bought the same shoes, they both bought similar jewelry, and are getting their dresses hemmed to the same length. It's freaking them out that the dresses are different colors, so they keep texting each other to find out how to be more similar.

SIGH.

Not really sigh worthy, dear! Unless they're both dressing like the bride of Frankenstein, I wouldn't worry. Many people expect BMs to look the same anyway!

Ha I know, but it just really surprised me! I figured they'd be happy to basically wear whatever they want, but it's bothering them not to be told what to wear, lol.

Mine are doing similar stuff--they're lost because I haven't picked out matching shoes/jewelry/hairstyles and keep asking me to.

My bridesmaids were the same way. They asked about every detail, and when I said "Whatever you want" they still ran every choice by me. They all had different dresses, which was drama unto itself, and did end up with different everything, but it was really hard for all of them to have that much individual authority.

Whit, are you taking any time off work at all? You're the workingest person I know.

My BMs tried to do that, but I stopped them and in the end only their dresses matched. It really, really freaked them out I did not care about their shoes or nail polish.

Haha mine are doing the same thing! They have matching dresses. Besides that I told them "get whatever shoes, jewelry, and whatever else you want. Just remember you'll be on grass and stilettos may not work out so well." I keep getting facebook messages of links to shoe websites asking me, "how are these?" It's pretty funny because I think they are all talking to each other about it too.

I'm getting really excited! Georgia, I ended up deciding to take tomorrow and of course friday off. I wanted to only take friday off but my mom refuses to decorate the church without me. ::rolls eyes:: :P

The whole letting your BMs wear different dresses or wear whatever they want is so relatively new that most BMs just don't understand it or know what to do with it. I never even considered it as a possibility or option until I started posting here. My BMs still wore the same dresses, but they did wear their own shoes.

Anyway, exciting Whit!! One more day!!
