The last time I had limoncello was in Bali.  H (he was just BF back then) and I had dinner at an Italian restaurant, and the owner's mama took a liking to us, so she came and brought us limoncello on the house at the end of the meal.  I spoke my broken Italian with her.  The weather was perfect.  Oh, that was a nice night.

Oooh, that reminds me, I still have a little bit of limoncello left from our Italy trip. I think I'll be nice and leave it for FI, though.

I'm being kinda plain tonight and having some sauvignon blanc.

well, I think at this point maybe a watered down one would be okay or a glass of wine.  I know M had wine a few times during her last pregnancy. The first, she abstained totally.

I've had a couple small glasses of wine. My OB was perfectly fine with me having a glass a week if I wanted. Mostly the issue is it sounds wonderful but it just doesn't taste good.

I wait for 9:00 every night because that's when the kid above me goes to sleep.  This building has poured concrete floors below the parquet flooring but the kid has a trampoline

The building I live in is the largest luxury building in NYC.  850 apartment, takes up a full city block.

There are more people in this building than in the town where I grew up in Massachusetts

I got the apartment here when I was in college with my sister and another girl. When we got married, the others moved.  When I got divorced, I got to keep the apartment and the child.

It's one of the 10,000 rent stablilzed apartments in NYC.  Most people would kill for it so I don't do much complaining about a kid making noise.  I'm quite sure that M made more than her share of noise in her time

There has been some conversations about me moving & closer to M and her family but they were shelved when I had this last surgery.

If it was successful, I'll consider it.  If not, it would be pretty dumb to move when I can't walk without crutches.
