Is it just a trend, or is arm hair really obsolete at this point? I don't think it is obsolete...I had a friend from college who has hers surgically lasered off in various sessions because she was very self-conscious about it.

Do you wax or shave it off? Or did you have laser? Neither.  I hate the way shaved arms feel.  My sisters do it.  Gross.
What color is/was it? Light light brown and a little blonde.  Weird cause my hair is practically black.
Was it easy to see? Not really.

How old were you when you got it removed? Or what age should you get it removed? My little sister started shaving her arms in middle school cause people teased her.  I think when it becomes a social situation (of ridicule), go ahead and get rid of it.  I had a mustache when I was 11.  Yeah, I started bleaching that sucker when a boy called me out on it.

OMG!!! I got through about half of the responses before I realized this was ARM hair, not armPIT hair...I was about to go nuts thinking that I was the only one who cared about shaving under there...yeah...ditzy moment!

Do you wax or shave it off? Or did you have laser? If I lasered anything it would be my armpits first, my legs second, binkini area third...arms aren't that much of a bother.

What color is/was it? It was darker brown in years before, but it's lightened out a bit, so it's a medium blonde color.
 
Was it easy to see?  I made the mistake of shaving my arms when I was like 7 (my mom left her razor on the side of the bath one day and I wanted to experiment) and it grew back dark--I wanted to take it back sooooo bad!!! You could see it clearly after it grew back...but thank goodness it's lightened up and not such a stark constrast to my porcelin skintone. 

Did it bother you to have it? A little...but the other areas I meantioned bother me a lot more.

How old were you when you got it removed? Or what age should you get it removed? I think it depends on the person if it should be removed--for me, I don't think I need it done.  I mean, if I had a zillion dollars and got bored with myself, I might do it...but prolly not.  I don't mind them that much.

I've never gotten rid of it, was weirdly self conscious about it when I was a teenager, but I'm not anymore. It's probably more or less the same color as what's on my head, but it's really fine so not that noticeable. I don't think there's anything wrong with arm hair.

But then, I've never waxed or plucked my eyebrows either, so maybe I'm not knowledgeable about all this hair removal stuff.

Was it easy to see? If you stare at my forearm, you can see it.
Did it bother you to have it? It used to bother me a lot more than it does now, but it's part of how I am so I don't mind it as much. And my husband doesn't care or notice, so that helps.

My body hair is so weird.  I have nearly no underarm or bikini hair, but my arm and leg hair used to be really thick (before I began shaving).  I'm so lucky it's blonde, because the regrowth would look so bad if it were darker. I'm probably going to laser my face when I have the funds too.
