How old is Finnick supposed to be? Early 20's? Jesse would be good. I am trying to imagine someone who could be as hot as Finnick in Catching Fire and as vulnerable as he was in Mockingjay. I am so bad at picturing people I would want. I wonder if when the writers write, if they have that perfect person in mind already?

Agreed, it's gross when people say shiiit like that.  Just because *you* picture him that way doesn't mean that's how Collins did.  I hope Finnick doesn't turn into Rue redux, but I'm certain it will if they cast someone of any ethnicity other than W.A.S.P.

I kind of pictured Alex Pettyfer. He's unbearibly "pretty." A bit freaky, actually. But he has blonde hair and blue eyes... right?

True, but I for one have never died over poor movie casting. I haven't even gotten a fever or anything.  Nor have any of my friends or family members.  Then again, I grew up in a small town so I'm not working with a very large portion of the population.
