I flame an editor who didn't like something I wrote, published it anyway, and then later, when asked, told me he had a problem with it. Come on. Let me re-write it, then, don't publish it if it's not good enough.

I'm in a meeting about the operating program we use. I'm the systems administrator for this program. Half of the people in this room are acting like they've never used a computer. FML.

Oh, we also had a "daddy shower" for my boss (#3 at the company) and another manager who's wives were pregnant. Yeah. Their wives. And since it was my boss I totally felt pressured into going and buying a $50 gift. (My coworker went and didn't bring a gift, which was totally tacky, but at the same time I felt super uncomfortable about the whole thing.)

FWIW, the manager hitting us up for money today also organized the shower.

And another coworker is leaving, so we're all going out for lunch anyway.

Oh, I'll be good at this:

ExAssis. for answering the phone when its not for her/I have someone on hold..
Shes so mousy, if anyone is talking in the office, she'll run over to be in the conversation.. And she worked for this company about 5 years ago, for maybe 3-4 years so I was trying to make a PO and she told me I was doing it wrong, when I proved her wrong, she threw a hissy fit..

Oh, and to top it off, she once told me I could call her 'aunt', she USED to be married to my uncle, but I don't remember her, I think they were split before I was even born... Psh.

R.C. Stop bossing me around.. I am NOT your assistance and I strongly suggest you stop telling people that I am. Also, it is wrong to call me the 'sign in nazi'. I could take, I'm strict but just randomly calling ppl nazi's.. IMO its wrong.

Also, I do not want to hear about your sex life in detail. And I think your kind of slooty for sleeping with 3 guys at once and I wouldn't brag about it.

I flame one of my staff members for walking into my office while I am obviously concentrating on something, and standing behind me until I smell her and end up turning around. I swear she scares the bejeeses out of me daily, and I tell her that. I think that knocking will have to be part of her next evaluation.
Plus. it totally negates the provacy screen on my monitor if she is standing behind me..

I flame the customer who demanded our corporate number because we don't take sale items back (and just because this info is not printed on the receipt doesn't mean it's not our policy).

I flame my lazy assistant for never doing her job or initiating projects. It's not a huge store. Look around! See something out of place or messy? Fix it!

I flame FI's company for telling him he'd be making XX a year base, when really it's only if he works 8-10 hours of overtime each week.
