Thank you for shower hosts

Ok, this is sort of a random question but I want people's opinions.....

So I'm getting my shower hosts a little gift but of course I want to write a thank you note to go with the gift.  

I'm wondering if I should use the regular thank you note stationary I got for the wedding or if most people go to Hallmark to get real thank you cards for their hosts?  Just curious what other people do/have done.

Don't use anything with your married name or monogram until after the wedding (if your wedding TY set has either).  I personally bought a nicer TY card for my hostess but that's up to you.  THe simple ones would be fine.

I went out and got a nice Hallmark card for each host.

I'll probably use some of the cards I already have. 

If I give gifts like gift cards or movie tickets I do like to tuck them into bigger cards.

My bridal shower ty's matched the invitations. My hostess was nice enough to include a few packs of them in my gift along with throwing the shower for me. I thought that was really sweet & a great idea. Made it super easy for me.

my standard thank you notes are failrly small so I plan on getting bigger ones for my shower guests just so I can write a little bit more than normal
