Poll: Toughest Wedding Decision

Hi all! I'm thinking this might be a poll that will help me... it seems like every time I make a call about a vendor it is either ridiculously easy (photography, flowers) or it comes down to two I love but can't decide between (event coordinator, caterer, bands...etc.)What were your toughest calls? How did you end up deciding? Thanks bunches ladies- you all are the best!I can start-So far my toughest call is catering- it's the biggest part of our budget (since we're going with full-service catering, includes rentals and whatnot) and the thing both FI and I care a lot about. Two great menus, two well-thought-of caterers, two similar prices...Nope, haven't decided yet and don't know how I'm going to!

I think the toughest call for us so far has been the location. First, we gave up on having our wedding in Hawaii. So the search began for the perfect location in NC. We found two great places in Topsail. Both had a lot of good things and a few not so great things. It was very hard. We finally decided to go with the Surf City Center, which was a little smaller then we were looking for, but had the perfect location (on the beach!)

#1 Location- tough call. We could either have a smaller wedding and get married in FI's parents backyard (with the Shallotte river in the background, where it almost meets the ocean). Or get married in Charlotte where I am from and have a slightly larger wedding and pay a little more. We chose Charlotte, mainly because my mother wanted us to and we wanted to have a bigger wedding. We met in Charlotte, so far I am happy we made this decision. #2 Choosing a BM dress. Holy cow, such a pain to figure out what everyone will be OK with. They are all similar in size, but different personalities and I have 5 girls. I think I've decided on a dress, but if I had realized this stress, I would have done something differently. Other than that, everything has been really really easy. Yay!

I don't know that we had any really tough decisions. We pretty much knew what we wanted. We did have to compromise about the time of day for our wedding mass, so that we could get our reception venue, but we just had a gap in the day, so we could still have an evening reception. I guess what wines to serve were a tough decision, hahaha. We just had to try a bunch first!

Toughest call - bridesmaid dress was hard.  Guest list size was hard.  Bridal portraits - to do or not to do - was hard.  I was really happy with the decisions I made on all three though.

Guest List probably. I had to apply various rules and I hate I had to cut people at all. Looking back, had I known that certain people wouldn't come, I would have invited more that could have come. Not a big deal though. The key is to create the vision and move towards it...everything else will fall right into place. If you don't know what you want, that's when it gets tough.

Oh, the +1 was really tough, how did I forget that?? I didn't want a bunch of random people at the wedding, so we tried to nix the +1 unless people were in a relationship, but of course, there were write ins, and in the end, we said "Screw it, whatever."

The toughest decision was walking away from my original venue and deposit 4 months before my wedding. It was a nerve wracking week to say the least, but now that everything is said and done, I'm so happy with the decisions we made and the way it turned out.

Mine would be the dress. I am getting married in June, tried on atelast 100 dresses and have not found it yet. I am highly aggrevated.Easiest-we booked the first venue we saw and they have an exclusive caterer.  Done. lol
