Invitees v. Guests

Just curious... how many people did you ladies invite? How many actually attended?Were your numbers what you expected them to be?

211 invited - 147 attended.  my mom and i said all along 150 would attend!

~130 invited and 70 came. I figured half would come d/t being OOT'ers.

190 invited, 130 attended. Pretty close to what we expected.

Invited around 105 - 70-ish showed up - we have a lot of last minute cancellations because of medical issues (vertigo, back surgery, knee surgery, hip surgery - and two of those were young people)

240 invited, 189 have RSVP'ed yes.  We thought we would be at 180, so pretty close.  We'll see how many we have on the big day!

I had a slight moment of "holy sh!te" last night lol.I mailed our StDs today.We had wanted a relatively small (maybe 100-125) guest list. We figured with a "destination" location it would be reasonable.I didn't realize how many people we had invited until I did a spreadsheet last night... over 350.Our venue will be fine for a big number- I just wasn't expecting it.I know better than to count on any percentage "not coming." I just couldn't believe it was that high. lol.

We invited 158 and had 95 come, we expected way more people (like 120)

We invited close to 180, we have 131 coming. We thought more like 150 would come, but we had some surprises from family who can't afford to travel right now =(

We invited 181 and right now have 128 attending.  We still have a few responses we're trying to track down (RSVP date was 11/1!) but I don't think the numbers will change drastically.  I wanted about 125, thought we'd be around 150...so all in all, I'm pretty happy with how it's turned out.

when yall say "invited" are yall talking about the number of invites you sent out or the number of actual people. We are planning on sending out about 150-175 invites, but each invite averages 2 people. Thats at least 300 people, which is wayyyyy more than I would want! We are having our wedding out of town so hopefully what will help slim down the number of guest.... FI is kinda of freaking out about the number thing.

Invited 95, 75 attended. Almost everyone was local though.

AW -- I was referencing # of people invited (i.e., we invited 181 and I believe we sent out 95 invites).

Yes - I am saying people invited - not actual invitations sent...

117 people invited....84 attended.  We were expecting closer to 90 but it worked out well.
