Venues in NJ

Hello everyone,

I've been looking for an amazing venue and have yet to find something that looks amazing. I'm looking for an open space for the outdoor ceremony...lots of trees and flowers.
A place located in Central - Northern NJ

If you know of a place or 2 PLEASE let me know

Thank you :)

If you tell use your budget, you will get more responses.  Your description is also very vague and can apply to lots of different venues.  Do you have anymore information about what you want? That will help everyone narrow down their recommendations.

Have you looked into Seasons?  They have a beautiful outdoor area with a waterfall, flowers, gazebo, soft lights on the trees at night. While your ceremony would be indoors, the outdoor area is perfect for pictures. Let me know if you are interested in having your wedding there on 7/3/11 (Sunday).

We had a very good experience with The Tides Estate in North Haledon, and they have a garden for ceremonies (we got married in a church, though, so we didn't use it).

Ditto PPs, reply back with your budget, and people can be of even more help.

Look at the westmont country club. It was too much for our budget though.

Your not going to find to much in the princeton Area, that was our original plan, however, the Marriot at Forestal Village has a very nice outdoor area but it might be out of your budget.  What about having your ceremony at Princeton UNiversity and having the reception somewhere else?

Hi- We are also looking for an outdoor venue and have not had much luck. We fell in love with Crossed Keys Inn but their pricing was way out of our price range. Would you be able to give me more details for Fernbrook Farms? Also, were you able to find more wedding pictures from other weddings? Their site didn't have too many pictures. Thanks for your help!

sorry for the delayed response!!! been very busy planning!

fernbrook farms is definitely one of those places you have to see in person! it's not one of those cookie cutter wedding venues, so there are options as to what you want and where you want it.

when i googled "fernbrook farms" for images...there were a couple of pictures that came up, but nothing too great. if you make an appointment to see the venue, the event coordinator has a bunch of photo albums from other weddings.

it will be difficult to see the beauty of the grounds now, but the set-up and architecture is so great that you can easily fall in love with it.

i saw it for the first time at the very end of october, and we easily able to picture my august wedding. even in mid november when i brought my parents and all the plants were dead and brown, they could see how pretty and whimsical it is there.

    hope that helps!

    dana
