live painter/artist at reception

I've heard about this from a few people but no one knows the specific artists name or the approx cost...you hire a painter to come to your reception and they create a painting of your wedding during the reception which you get at the end of the night, everyone who saw it at weddings said it was such a cool thing for the couple to have, a great piece of unique art etc...anyone know anything about this?

I have booked Joan Zylkin. I really enjoy her impressionistic style. I'm looking forward to seeing our completed painting and hanging it in our home. She is very easy to work with - responds to emails quickly and is very friendly. Since we are located in Montclair, it is out of her range and requires an overnight stay (she is in Philly).  Her work is oil on canvas.

I do not know anything about "Captured on Canvas" but I did see his(?) work after I booked Ms. Zylkin and also really liked his style. If you are doing a lot of research, I would suggest it is worth contacting him as well.

Jessica "The Celebration Artist" is another painter I contacted. Her prices are lower than the one I booked (about 1/2), but I liked the other style better for my tastes and my budget allowed the price difference. She was also very friendly, willing to answer all questions and I'm sure would be nice to work with. She works in acrylics on canvas.  http://www.thecelebrationartist.com/

There were some others that came up when I googled (this was very important to me actually - one of the few things I knew I was going to book ahead of time, so I feel as if I've done a lot of research) but either I didn't hear back from them or they didn't leave as good of an impression.
