Kind of WR, but I need your help.

June 25, 2012 my parents will be married for 40 years!  My father wants to throw my mom a surprise party.  But not just any party, basically he wants to throw a "mini wedding".  So I am looking for reception halls in Monmouth County.  (When I got married we didn't actually look into any other venues, so I never did a search.)

Anyway,  The guest list will be about 150 people and he wants to do a cocktail style dinner.  Let's just say for now that there is no budget.  He wants it to be perfect, so we are just looking for an amazing place with amazing food.

I will be out most of the day, but I will check back later in case you girls have any other questions.

I could really use your help so TIA for any and all suggestions you may have.

They have good food and put on a good cocktail reception.  Will be tight over 100 people though in my opinion.

I wouldn't do Raven and the Peach- sorry User, but it was way too crowded for my liking at the wedding I went to a few weeks ago (which I believe was less than 150ppl). Poor layout upstairs, and the food was mediocre and took way too long to come out.

I think Oyster Point, now that it's redone, is gorgeous. Avenue in Long Branch may be able to fit 150 but I never looked there.

Thanks for the suggestions, I think I might check out Addison Park and the Oyster Point.  I think that Avenue might max out at 150, and I would certainly be afraid of things being cramped.  Also 150 is a guesstimate it might be higher than that, I don't know yet. Thank you again.
