back from our food testing

It was so fun but I am SOOO full!  I've never been to any kind of tasting before and it was awesome. I kept hearing that our venue has great food, but I never ate there, so I didnt know. I'm a picky eater, but I made myself try almost everything (except cavier, I just cant do it), and it really was all GREAT! It was also so nice because we got to see the place settings, the linens, cake decoration choices, and even our charger plates and it looked great. I'm more excited now! And the best part is they had one table w/ these awesome tall centerpieces and now FI agrees that he likes them and if they are tall enough won't block anyone's view so I can get tall ones!!!

I am getting married at The Seasons...I do not think I have a taste testing either :(  Do you know what the process is for the menu selection & cake selection at The Venetian?  i would imagine it would be the same for me.

I was married at the Venetian. I was annoyed at first about the no food tasting.  You will just go over the menu with them about a month before.  You'll also see a few linens (literally 3-4) and decide from that.  It's not as exciting as I had hoped but they really offer so much that you will be so so happy the day of your wedding.

the cake you can taste - you just go to the bakery to schedule a tasting

Thanks for the info! What kind of linens do they have? Anything with a design or should I start searching for linen company? I think I want a black and white paisley pattern. Do you know if they recommend a company? So many choices to make...

It's literally only a few options.  I wouldn't waste $ on an outside company unless you don't love the ones they show you.

Thank you for the info :)  When I booked at the Season's they said they do not to tasting becasue their reputation pretty much speaks for itself.  I was not worried about that becasue I have heard the food is fabulous....just would have been fun!  Glad to know we can atleast taste the cake.
