I haven't really looked back at my first wedding. My relationship with my ex was completely different than it is with FI. And the wedding we're planning now is totally us. My ex didn't help much with the planning other than to say he wanted this or that. My mom kind of ran with everything for that wedding.

You may want to make a post on the second wedding board to get more of a feel for it.

Just don't over think it to much and enjoy your time planning.

I think you are overthinking it based on your previous posts.  My husband was married before and this was my first.  It didn't bother me.  People grow and move on in life and if you dwell on the past, only then will  it  become a problem.  You have a new life together and a person that loves you and wants to marry you.  Conversely, you knew he was married before and so you must accept him as is.  I know that my husband enjoyed every minute of our wedding and was super excited about it.

I have talked with people that were married before.  Honestly, sometimes it does take a little bit of the "mystery" of the big day out of the equation, but it doesn't take away anything from your marriage.
