Vendor response time

How long do you give your vendors before you start getting antsy & annoyed that they haven't replied? I'm way too impatient. I need like an instant reply. I know you have a blackberry so return my email damn it!

    I used to have no problem giving them ample time during the "busy season" but a little over 4 months out I'm antsy, I agree with you, I check my email 20 times a day, i would even deal with a "im really busy i'll get back to you in a few i'm swamped".

    It depends n the vendor. I know my florist checks his mail once a day, so after a few days it will annoy me. My photog only does when his wife reminds him, so if it is urgent I call or I give him a week. My reception hall doesn't really do e-mail which just annoys me in general.

    I am having the same problem. My minister hasn't returned the last three of my emails. I am calling him tomorrow yell at him lol. And if he doesn't return my call then I guess I need to find a new minister lol.

    Our photographer's pretty good about returning e-mails within the day (I think he has a BB or iPhone). The hall has taken up to a week but they get back to me, and I have their number if I REALLY have an urgent question. The church ... well, the music director (and I guess she's their wedding coordinator) is good about getting back to me promptly, but I have yet to speak to our priest. He's always on vacation, apparently. I'm in the wrong line of work :P

    All of my vendors are very good about getting back to me within a day.  The only exception ismy photographer...he usually takes a few days or more.  I do have his number if I have an urgent question but usually I just wait for him to answer my email.My venue, florist, dj, etc are all very good about getting back to me...and that is usually within a few hours.

    Im extremely impatient as well....especially with all the technology we have now a days!  My photog. has taken up to a month to get back to me...which was not the case before I booked her!  And i know she has a blackberry too!

    If vendors don't get back within a day, I get really annoyed.  So I start sending multiple e-mails to annoy them back. lol :)

    I'm the same way, very impatient - I want a response that same day and if not, first thing the next morning. IMO almost everyone has a BB or some sort of smart phone where they get email instantly so even a "i'm busy now but will respond to you later" email will suffice for me...most of my vendors are pretty good but there has been those who definitely were NOT
