When did you book your cake tasting, how far out from the wedding?

We did ours maybe 6 weeks before.

Cake people told me to book it 2 months before the wedding.

I am sure if there is a set time, but we did ours in April for our July wedding, only bc I was on spring break and wanted it done.

I just did mine and my wedding is in November.

the cake is included in our package with the reception hall....and we're meeting with them tomorrow night to go over the cake and such....so that's like, 2.5 months?

We did ours mid-February for an April 3 wedding.  The cake was included and we did the tasting at the same time.

I did it almost a year out (WAY early) beacuse I wanted to have a specific bakery do mine and they book up quick and i am out of state.

i didnt get a cake tasting.. boo!  can you book one like every week?  i love cake

i just called Palermos and made one for Sat 8/8....so about 1.5 months before the wedding

We had our tasting about a month ago (wedding is november). I'm glad we went early because they told me they can't do the design I want on the cake, which I was upset about. They told me to pick something else, but I called our venue to see if they work with another bakery and they told me to bring in the design because they might be able to do it for us.

Hey Mye they will be busy with my wedding cake that day..lol.... anyway I did mine in Dec for an August wedding only because I just wanted to get it done
