John Arcara Photographer?

Hey Girls, So I think the FI and I have decided on a photographer, our top choice is John Arcara. Has anyone else used him or would recommend him? -Rach

Used him and loved him!  He was awesome.  If you have any questions let me know.  A lot of other knotties have used him also.

as a wedding photog. i think he is a bit overpriced for what he shoots, but overall admire much of his work (especially commercial).  i see his name pop up a bit so you'll get some feedback tomorrow.

if there is one place you want to spend a little more, i think you're right to spend it on a photog. you love!  never heard of a negative review so i'd go for it.

If you have any questions or you want to see my pictures from my wedding in March let me know.  I will say that yes, John is on the pricier side, but I will also say that we had booked another photographer and cancelled to book John.  I loved his work and his personality was awesome especially on the day of.  Kelly

My friend used him and loved him & I am using him for my wedding too. Not only is he artistic and an awesome photographer, but he is reliable and a very nice guy!

Hey!We are using him for our wedding and LOVE him. FI and him got along like long lost friends and that sealed the deal for us. The personalities have to mesh that is SO important when you choose your photog. Go with someone you won't mind spending 10 hours with and who will be following you around ALL day long. I don't have wedding pix to show you but I do have a ton of our engagement pix email me LauraMichelleSmall @ Gmail . com and I will give you the password to our online gallery. He is pricy but not as pricy as a few of the other ones my friends/coworkes used and he is comperable to the other people we were looking at.

We're using John for our wedding on 2/6/10. He was the priciest photographer we met with but FI and I agreed that he is worth what he charges (both in talent and quality of the albums he produces). We are having our engagement photos done next Thursday so I can only speak to his reputation and professionalism, which to date, has been top notch. GL!

We used John and just got our proofs back and are very happy. Considering what his packages include (I know a lot of people who paid close to what we did and did not get an album) I do not think he is that expensive. He was great to have around on our wedding day and did a good job of quickly getting all our family shots in. I highly recommend him.

i used John for my wedding this past November - i cannot say enough good things about him!  he was on the higher end of our budget for photographer but worth every penny. i have a link to the slideshow on his blog in my siggy as well as pics in my married bio.
