Does anyone know what the Palace at Somerset Park's Price Range is? I keep playing phone tag with them.

    We were invited to a wedding there this Saturday (we're not going though, it's my MOH's Rehearsal Dinner) but we were told through the Bride and her mother they're paying $220 pp (plus tax/servic/etc) and a min guarantee of 250 people

    I'm getting married there next Friday and got a really good deal.  I think it all depends on when you book your date.  We got engaged in December and wanted to get married this summer, so we took the dates they had available and were able to get a really great deal.

    When I went to look a few weeks ago it was about 175pp with a higher than average minimum (average being 150ish) but I can't remember what exactly. They have two rooms. I'm pretty sure we looked at the less expensive room.

    When we were looking (in Oct '08) we were quoted $185 + tax and tip for a Saturday night in October '09. With a minimum of 175 for the smaller ballroom (think it's the West). Think the price dropped to $165 + tax and tip for Sat night in December. From my understanding the bigger ball room was the same price you just had to guarantee a higher minimum. Also, somebody had posted a while ago that they were quoted $100 pp for a Sat night in April I think it was. I still find that hard to believe but hey anything’s possible.

    Oh I should note, we were looking at next summer. I think they only had dates in August and then they told me September would be more expensive than August would be. And the price was for Sat night.(At the time I visited there, I was thinking more Aug/Sept instead of June so I may not have asked about the earlier summer months. We decided on June later.)

    You can get $145 for a Sunday.  My wedding is in March we were quoted 145 pp for a Saturday Night but are adding extra stations. So it will be more like $150.  oUR SALES PERSON DID NOT WORK WITH US AT ALL we were told we had to have everything on the menu.  Apparently you can get less stations and it will be cheaper.
