there is only one picture with me and him in it together.he also showed up in a suit that day despite owning a tux and having planned to wear it originally (this i actually didn't notice bc i dont giveaF but it upset DH)also he made it a point to have a MISERABLE face on for every pic walking down the chuppah, under the chuppah, etc.

It amazes me how grown adults can act like such children. I am sorry that you ladies had to go through that on your wedding days! I am really lucky, nothing *bad* really happened all day. My grandmother got cranky and treated my family much like caketime's MIL treated her (walked out every room that they were in, wouldn't look at them, or have anything to do with them), but that didn't impact me too much, and it was expected (my mom wasn't too happy about it though, nana is dad's mom,and it is my mom's family that she hates). The good was the amazing weather that day and how smoothly everything went.

The good- Our first dance and the best part was seeing our bridal party get emotional as we danced.

I'm sorry girls and glad you were able to keep it together. I had a similar thing happen with BIL (good to date but not so good to marry). A week before the wedding he tried to talk mh out of marrying me. I was devistated! He and I were able to work it out 2 days before the wedding.

Yup, he got the whole trying to get talked out of it day before Thanksgiving, Christmas, even morning of. As well they said my family wasn't "well off enough" for them (mind you my parents paid for everything and his did not offer a dime). Oh and MIL was upset the shower, RD, and wedding did not focus more on her. Yes, I kid you not.To date: They have not reached out to me and I have not to them. To say I am hurt and angry is an understatement.

DH was very upset about the whole thing, as you can imagine. He basically told them to f off and defended me and my family.

Aww thanks for the support girls. This is the motto I have been living by and wrote to DH in an email yesterday : "I love you Avi and it really doesn't matter to me how we are treated by them but how we treat each other."and thats that folks.

My dad wasn't feeling well, looked green at times (didn't eat)and hasn't gotten much better since. The doctors are trying to figure out what the heck is wrong him, but the insurance company won't let them administer the tests needed.On a funny note, it seems that my Godmother/aunt evidently propositioned my FIL--lmao. She was soooooooooo drunk and had the time of her life. I don't think she remembers, but he (sober as can be) does. Mike and I were dying laughing when we heard.
