From the amazing food to the outstanding service, this venue truly did make our reception unforgettable. **At some point during the Viennesse Hour, one of our guests dripped melted chocolate onto my dress. Before I even realized it, my wonderful bridal attendant was at my side with some creative mixture that worked perfectly! I was so thankful to have her there. Anyone who is planning to have their wedding at the Venetian will be beyond thrilled with this venue. They really live up to the saying "You get what you pay for"
Something Special Bridal Salon- A+ The women at this place are truly amazing. Every time I went in there, I felt as though I was the most important bride in the world. They really do make you feel extra special and care a lot about you. I had no problems with my dress, or any of the 6 BM dresses either. The day I picked up my dress, I was given a bottle of champagne and a thoughtful card-it was so sweet of them. I would highly recommend this store to any girl who wants an a wonderful bridal dress experience. Bijou Bridal- B This was the only store that carried the flower girl dress I wanted. Everything went fine with ordering the dress. The people that work there are what made me give this place a B. The women their are so snotty and stuck up- I dreaded every time I had to go their. Magnolias Florist- A Monika did a wonderful job. The bouquets were beautiful, the centerpieces were exactly what I wanted and the church decorations were perfect. The reason I gave her an A without the + was b/c I was disappointed with my bouquet- at first. The pink roses were supposed to be a very pale, light pink- but ended up being a darker, deeper pink. Total minor detail that I got over really quickly- but it was just the initial shock of it not looking like the sample she made me. Overall, I would highly recommend her. Impressive Impressions- A (for now) At first I was a little worried that Gene might be that "annoying, over-bearing" photographer type, and to be quite honest- he was the EXACT opposite. He listened to my DH and I, never bothered us, and kept us right on time the entire night. We really enjoyed working with him that day and CANNOT WAIT to see the final pictures. Danaro Limo- A+ From day 1 Tony was great to work with. As it got closer to the wedding, I called them a couple times just to check, double check, and yes even triple check to make sure everything was set. The limo was on time, clean, and the driver was so nice. I would highly recommend this company to everyone! DJ Associates- A+ This is actually my brothers DJ company. Although he wasn't the DJ that night (he was in the wedding), the other guys that he works with did an amazing job. They had everyone on the dance floor all night. The music was great, the MC was so personable, the lighting looked amazing our GOBO turned out perfect! I knew they would do a great job, but I have to say, they exceeded my expectations! Our videographer works for his company too- I can't really rate him yet but as far as that day- he was great to work with. Ciro's Hair Pavillion- A+ Gabriella, Maria, and Nina did an awesome job! My hair looked incredible and I couldn't have been happier with it. They did such a great job with my BM's hair, MOB, and MOG as well. Everyone loved their hair and it lasted all day/night. They came to my moms house which was nice and convenient. They were all so sociable and we really enjoyed having them around that morning. Evelyn Abanto- A+ She is from the MAC counter at Nordstrom and was recommended to be by a former bride. I had a trial with her, wasn't too sure if I liked it, went back and LOVED it. I have to admit, although I was happy with my second trial, I was worried how it would turn out that day. Evelyn really did exceed my expectations. I'm a lip gloss and some mascara type of girl-so wearing a lot of makeup is not me. She made me look so naturally beautiful that day (not being conceded or anything). All of my girls were very happy, including the moms, and she did a wonderful job. St. Leo's Church- A+ Not much to say here. They were easy to work with, didn't give us any problems, and the air conditioning was turned out FULL BLAST that day.
Party City, Paramus- B+ Our invites were beautiful, exactly what we wanted. Price was great ( 30% off each part of your order). However, when the "sample" came in, it was just a piece of paper. I must have looked it over a 100 times, and had others check it as well. When the final invites came in, we were told to "hurry up" and check to see that everything was there. It wasn't until we got home that we realized our names were the same size font as the rest of the invite. It was supposed to be larger and in a different font. Not a huge deal, but it was a simple mistake that should have been fixed. Party City policy is- once they leave the store, that's it. So there was no returning or getting them fixed. It wasn't the end of the world, we got over it, but still- I wasn't completely satisfied with them. Krause's Candy- A+ Chocolate letter "D" favors. They were amazing to work with. They loved my idea, thought it was so creative and even special ordered the molds. Gave me a great price and wrapped and tied each wonderfully. They even threw in a few extra at no charge! Le Petit Gauteu Bakery- A+ Our wedding cake was exactly what we wanted- it was perfect. But this is not why they get the A+. The grooms cake that they made for my FI was UNBELIEVABLE! He loves to go fishing and I had the bakery create a striped bass fish- it looked so realistic that my DH didn't realize what it was at first! They went above and beyond to make that cake look as incredible as it did!
