Mens Wearhouse Question

Hi. I know a lot of people have had mixed reviews about Mens Wearhouse. I used them because 95% of our bridal party is out of state, so it was just easy and convenient for us. We've had 2 or 3 small problems with them, but after remembering that people have posted some negative reviews it's gotten me worried that's something big is going to go wrong right before the wedding. What are the problems that you've had with MW? TIA!

what were the negative reviews and was it a particular mens warehouse in nj? We were going to use the one next to whole foods in edgewater area.

I honestly dont remember. I remember seeing them before we booked with them, and we booked either end of June or beginning of July. The first problem we had was at the store in Livingston where the guy just completely screwed up our order (one of the problems being he spelled my last name wrong, but not my father's or brother's) and we had to go back and fix the whole order. Now they're telling us that our best man didnt place his order when he did, he said he went to the one in Woodbridge.

Fi has ordered tuxes from the MW in the bridgewater common's mall for 3 weddings and has never, ever had a problem with them.  Nice.....the suites always came in correct and on time.  But it could jsut be that store.

Thank you! FI will be picking his tux up from Bridgewater, so that makes me feel better. They were nice in there when we went back to fix all the problems that the guy in Livingston did.

we ordered from mens warehouse too - FBIL used them for his wedding too and everything was perfect - we used the ledgewood store, edison store, neptune store and somerset store - as long as you CONFIRM everything with them and call and still confirm and get stuff in writing...you will be fine!I forgot who, but somone used santos and son tuxes and they messed stuff up too - it really doesnt matter where you order from - we all know not "every" order gets ruined....we just hear about themThere are plenty of brides out there that are not on the KNOT using MW and whom im sure are having a  great experience with them but we will never hear about that in our knottie world

I used MW in Freehold and I didnt have any trouble. Our GM were in NJ, PA, and CT and no one had any issues.

We are using MW in Paramus, and so far we only had one problem....my stepfather went to get measured in Wayne and they had the vest/tie color wrong for the Dads.  Luckily I was next door at Davids Bridal so I went in and had them change it and confirmed everything.  My Fi was actually in a wedding this weekend and he picked up from the store in Paramus, and when he tried it on, the jacket sleeves were too short.   He ended up having to go back the next morning to pick it up which wasn't a big deal.

I used the one in englewood and was not thrilled.  Had to get on the phone twice with them, in a not pleasant tone, to correct things.

DH and son used MW in Wayne -- no problems, his nephews used one in Freehold with no issue, my nephew used Paramus and Best man used bridgewater -- none of us had problems

I should mention my nephews tux was ordered in MW in Kansas City and picked up in Paramus
