Name Change @ Social Secuirty??

So now that I'm a married girl who is well rested from the HM, I get to do all the fun name changing that comes along with it.  My goal this week is to hit up S.S.  Does anyone know exactly what you need to bring with you besides the marriage certificate in order to change your last name?? TIA!

    marriage license and an ID was all I needed

    go to their website beforehand and print out all the paper work and fill it out. It'll save you more time.

    Yes, don't forget to fill out the form.  You won't get the card right away either, takes 7-10 days (at least thats what the one in clifton told me).

    They will ask for your current SS card too. You don't have to fill out the paper work. I filled it out while I waited to be called and it took like a minute to complete.

    bfp 1 - m/c 1.31.11 @ 10 weeks 

    bfp 2 - baby born via c-section on 5.4.12 @ 37 weeks

    TFAS since February 2013--BFP on cycle 1!

    bfp 3 - blighted ovum/d&c on 4.13.13 @ 8 weeks

    SA #1 - Slightly abnormal shape, #2 - very low count

    Follistim + IUI 3x = BFN, BFN, very late BFP with super low progesterone --> c/p

    Moving on to long protocol IVF with ICSI and PGS in August 2014...how in the holy hell did I get here? FU 2IF.

    I filled out the form before I went also, they just looked at my Marriage license and my drivers license, I got it a week later in the mail

    All I needed was my old SS card and marriage license -- I didn't even have to fill out the paperwork - they did everything and all I needed to do was sign the form
