Good Morning!

Morning! I hope you're all doing well today! I had my first bridezilla moment last night (I think I did, FI says I was completely validated). . .A particular person continues to make comments that aren't needed and so I kind of went off. . not at the person because they're future family, but I cried at my pillow and talked it out with FI. GO ME! Today should be better though :) Im heading to the barn soon to do some work. I hope you all have a wonderful day!

We all have our moments!  At least you have to FI to talk it out with.  Mine usually looks at me and says "really?"  You're upset over this?Don't worry about family and their comments.  I have an aunt who told me long before I was engaged that she would not come if I married this one.  Well, I'm hoping she sticks to it!  I don't want her negativity on my day.  Some people are only happy when they are miserable- and misery loves company.  Don't let them see that they are getting to you because that is probably exactly what they want!Happy Tuesday!

Good morning! Don't let the nasties get you down, for some reason weddings are the one thing everyone has an opinion about. I can't even tell you how many of FMIL's friends have decided that the best way to follow up "nice to meet you" is "you should do ___ with your wedding." One even told me I had to change my date because it was too late in the fall! Kudos on keeping your cool, I agree with your FI. As long as you didn't throw cake at anyone I'm preeeetty sure you weren't bridezilla-ing. :)

Yes Beka, we all have our moments. And Corrine, how dare you not accomodate the FMIL's friend - don't you know she hates October events?? JK - can't believe she said that to you!  People never cease to amaze me.  How does the quote go, the more people I meet the more I love my dog?

Haha I agree! Basically, Izzy (dog) is the only one that hasn't had an opinion about the wedding. However she might when she finds out what her wedding outfit is...The best thing is, these friends of FMIL's aren't even invited to the wedding (unless FMIL is inviting them without telling me, a distinct possibility) so I'm at a loss as to why they care so much about the timing/color scheme/caterer of my wedding. Ahh well.Another thing that peeves me to no end? People you don't know grabbing your ring hand! These are probably the same people who touch pregnant women's bellies without permission. I get that I'm engaged but hands off people! There's a swine flu epidemic, hello!

OMG I know what you mean about the pregnant belly touchers/left hand grabbers! Its a very nice compliment to have my ring examined by complete strangers, but I'd prefer you to look and not touch so that I don't get your germs, thank you! Oh and on a side-note, my Mom has already warned me about the pregnant belly touchers.  I'm already terrified of how low (and how high!) people will go.  I am not okay with this kind of contact in public with STRANGERS!
