The Pros???

has anyone used The Pros for the DJ/Photographer? I have an appointment with them and I wanted to see befor i went if anyone could tell me a little more about them TIA.

Ive read nothing but bad reviews on here about them.  They also call my house non-stop.  I think good photogs dont need to do this.  I picked JF photography- very nice place/work,

Thanks i will check them out!!! before i made the appointment they were calling non-stop thats why i made the appointment to see them and have them stop calling

although I've heard that they are OK (and they are just OK at best) for DJ services, I definitely would NOT book them for video or photography.  You run the risk of your preferred vendor cancelling, and then they'll substitute some lackey who knows NOTHING about your wedding or photo wish list.For a little bit more, it really pays to have control.

Making an appointment with a vendor just because they harassed you into it seems like a waste of time-- do you really want to book someone that unprofessional?I have read some good reviews about their DJ services (don't remember if I've seen bad ones), but have only read awful reviews of their photography.  Photography is not somewhere that you want a jack of all trades, master of none.

Obviously, Reilly, you haven't heard NOTHING but bad reviews about them b/c if you read this board regularly, I have posted several times in the past few weeks about how I used them for their DJ services and had not a single complaint about them. We just used DJ Ant (Antoine Williams) from The Pros for a DJ and were very happy with him.

Why would you make an appointment with someone who is harassing you?   You are just rewarding them.

I posted my bad experience in the past. They promised me that the DJ I wanted was available. After the time expired for me to get my money back the DJ suddenly had a family committment and wasn't available for the wedding. In the end after fighting with them I was only able to get a portion of my depsit back.
