Susie's Law was passed yesterday!
For those of you who dont know here is the story. It makes me furious, but happy knowing animal abusers now will face Jail time.

This law should be nation wide!!  I will never understand how people could treat any living thing that way!!  I don't like the fact that the judge can decide on community service.  Give them jail time.  

since we are talking about animal lovers... wanted to show off my little girl, I can't imagine anyone trying to hurt her!

It's about time!  I can't believe the things people do to animals and get away with!  What would make you think you could just harm an animal?  and then get away with it, too???

I couldnt agree more. This is my baby!! I just dont understand how anyone could hurt an animal. It makes me so sad.

I listened to the Senate Hearing over the computer and did a little dance when they announced 47-0!  I got to meet Susie a few months ago at a dog rescue benefit -- she is the sweetest dog and its so heartwarming to see that dogs have such big hearts they can survive something as awful as she did and still love people!

Thaks Beka, she is spoiled... that's all we know she is!!   The rescue facility said beagle, but after she grew 45 lbs and 3ft tall when standing we figured not so much beagle, our vet says she might be fox hound or deer hound... maybe a mix of all hounds, no one knows.  But mostly spoiled!

I was really happy it passed!  I can't believe anyone could do something like that.  All my fur babies are in my siggy

I'm late as usual...but that is awesome!!

I got to the point where I have to turn the channel if those ASPCA commericals come on with abusived animals on it asking for money..b/c I cry and want to give but don't have that abality right now! 

Yea people who abusive animals need someone to do exactly what they did to the animal AND JAIL TIME!!! I just don't get it...you can almost kill a dog and you get a slap on the wrist if that!

God was watching over all animals when this law passed!!

Oh yea my babies are spolied too!! But when a cute face gives those big brown eyes I just can't help myself!! He has my heart in his little paws! My dog was a rescue and he is lucky he is so darn cute b/c he has cost us a fortune with vet bills---very sick after we got him--heart worms etc.

Yay, it was such great news.  I volunteer at the APS of Durham.  There are so many times I just want to hurt people when I see the horrible things they do.

I don't have a picture of them, but I have 3 little ones, all rescues: Cecelia (our dog), Twitchy (our rabbit) an Shelby (our turtle).  And we dog foster.  it's a full house!
