Rehearsal dinner?

Hey ladies I am getting married in Ocean Township and had chosen Rod's Tavern in Sea Girt for our rehearsal dinner but they're booked. Everything I find in Ocean Township/Red Bank/Tinton Falls and those areas seem to be either too expensive, or they require at least 30 or 35 people.....and we only have 20 (and it's not as if we can invite more because my FIL is already upset he has to pay for 20 people) Anyone have any suggestions for good restaurants or even hotels with banquet facilities in the general area?

Have you tried Buona Sera in Red Bank or even Gaitano's also in Red Bank. We had our RD at Buona Sera and we only had 24 people.  We did family style and they gave us the wine room.  It was awesome and the room is beautiful. Gaitano's I don't know the pricing on, but it is BYOB so you can save there. HTH

I was going to suggest Buona Sera as well. Another fav of mine is Teak . I don't know what the pricing would be. But the food is good.

We're also getting married in Ocean Twp, but at The Renaissance. We were looking in Bradley Beach to have the RD at Giamano's (sp?). They have an upstairs room too. There are a few restaurants in Bradley, but their slipping my mind at the moment.

How about Matisse in Belmar, or Mahogany Grill in Point

I know La Pastaria in Red Bank has reasonable prices for groups and the food is awesome.  If you want to go really casual, try Front Street Trattoria, also in Red Bank- they have a small private room, great food, and very reasonable.

La Pastaria is where my shower was... it was great, and its BYOB so more economical. Mahogany Grill is in Manasquan I believe.
