10 days out...

So I am 10 days away now from the big day. And I can't tell you enough how people keep asking me "are you nervous" "are you excited" "are you ready"... you get the idea. And funny thing is, it's usually the same people over and over again each time I see them. Oh man, does anyone else get tired of hearing that? So who else is a June 19th bride?

I did get tired of this, but it started 3 months out and continued up until the wedding.

    You're sooo close!

Wow....you're almost there now!  Congrats!  And, I get the same questions on a very regular basis from co-workers....At some point they really seemed to care, but I think it's just a conversation starter now...lol.  You know the baby questions will come after the wedding, so get yourself prepped for that!  I think I dread that more because FI and I have been together for 10 years, so people think we should start having kids immediately, but we plan to wait at least 2-3 years before we have any.

Congrats on being so close! I know tons of people asked me those same ?'s about being nervous, excited, ready. I thought it would eventually get on my nerves but it didn't really seem to bother me. I was just so excited the last couple of weeks leading up to the wedding it was very easy to reply, "I'm not one bit nervous, just very excited to get to marry FI," and ppl usually left it at that. I'm surprised we haven't been asked about having kids yet, but we're only three weeks into our marriage.

Funny how God has a different plan for you & thank goodness he did. My daughter was born 2 1/2 yrs after we were married and thank goodness we didnt wait b/c he passed away when she was 4. Thank goodness GOD had a diff plan for us. But you will know when you are ready for that extra little one! :)

I'm your date twin!!! Gaw, I'm so ready for it to be here, and so not ready all at once! My first guests get into town (tomorrow?) Saturday... My half-brother, his wife, and their kids... And yes, the same people seem to ask the same questions. I am not just a bride right now; I am still a person, too.
