When to order favors?

The non-edible ones that is.  When should I order the fricken knot is telling me now, but you girls are more reliable.

    Depends. If you have the space do it whenever you can. I had edible ones and I got them 3/4 months prior.

    Well my edible ones I am scheduling to come like 2 weeks prior.  These are my coasters, they all will need to be put into boxes and tied as well if that helps with the decision?

    Then order them when you want to... I say the sooner the better, bc  what if they are discontinued?

    If you have storage space and have a pretty good idea of how many you need, I'd say about a month or two.  That was you can ribbon as you have time and you're not scrambling at last minute.

    Are you ordering them from the knot?  They screwed up every order I had and my friend (she was doing wine stoppers and they sent her cameras instead) and shipping was slow.  So, I would order them nowish and then you'll have them with enough time to put them together.

    My wedding is October 24th.  We are giving bottles of wine and coasters.  I ordered my coasters about 1 month ago, but only because I had some extra money at the moment.  The wine I am waiting until we have somewhat of a guest count just so I don't over buy

    Kimmy I have extra storage space, its called my moms childless 3 bedroom house (heehe)Not from the knot, I did my crazy research, but I think I am going to do them soon, crap, how the hell did I get to the point of not just looking at favors but to ordering.I wasn't ready for this slam of shyt! (sorry wine+cheryl=dramatic bride)

    If you have the extra room I would just order them. The knot is very slow with shipping. I think it took 2 weeks for my moms order to come in.

    I have it MICHELLE! but its at work, I looked at like 10 sites that sold the same thing to find the best price, but now I have like 10 bookmarked sites at home, and the right one at work!  Geez facepalm girl!

    This is why I'm just getting edible favors that we were told to order 2 days before.  And if there are leftovers, I am eating them all by myself.

    Cheryl...take a quick look at www.icestandard.org They had the coasters I ordered a lot cheaper than anyone else and I received them in about 1 week.

    LOL Kristen, I chose them because they were simple, I didn't want anything that would "clash" or be hidden in someones house, and to clear anything up, I am NOT going to be AW and put a pic of us in it :)
