    thinking about it but DH says I dont need it. for $30 tho who cares if i dont need it! LOLps-- what do you use for backing up? do you have time capsule or something else?

    I kinda want it. My friend who used to work at an apple store says that it will be faster and has some cool tweaks. I'm with you though -- for 30 bucks, why the heck not?I use an external harddrive that I plug in every few days. It was cheap (around $100) and has a huge capacity (1TB).

    I think I am?  Do you know what the "cool tweaks" are?  I like the idea of it running faster and freeing up space.

    Einat, ps the harddrive is bulky, it's not something you would throw in a bag and take with you, but it does the trick and the last one I had was technically portable and small, but it just stopped working one day. So you never know!

    trying to figure out what the tweaks are -- not sure! But for 30 bucks.....

    In my experience with Mac, their new operating systems are very buggy for about six months as users discover problems. Then they fix it. So I usually wait 6 months to order.
