Salisbury Depot/Train Station

My first post! I just got engaged in May and we're having a December wedding of next year (thanks for my FI's crazy schedule). We just booked the Salisbury Depot for the reception because I absolutely fell in LOVE with the look/character/feel of the place. I was curious if anyone else has had their reception there or has been to a wedding there and have pictures/ideas for me?

Also, could anyone recommend a florist and wedding cakes to me?

Hi there!! I have a friend getting married there the first of next month so I can let you know how it went and send pictures.

Have you looked into Chelish Moore, I know she is located in downtown Concord. We are getting married next September and have an appointment with her at the end of this month. Also, Party blooms florist seems to be popular, they are in downtown Charlotte.

As far as cakes, there is a place called Cake Affairs in downtown Concord http://cakeaffaire.com/cakeaffaire.com/Welcome.html (they are also on FB). They do really nice work and are reasonably priced.

But there are soo many others, just thought I would pass these along. Good luck in the planning and Congrats

BOXER- Thanks! I actually have an appointment with Chelish at the end of this month to see if she's in my price range. I heard she's awesome but I'm worried she's a little pricey. Right now I have my florist budgeted at 1,600. Do you know if she's pricey? And I will definitely look at the cake affairs. Thanks again!
