Just wanted to give everyone a heads up about the HORRIBLE issues we've had with this hotel. We had 50 rooms blocked here for our October 17 wedding. 25 rooms were booked as of last week and they began to tell our guests that they are booked and have no rooms. I called to see what was going on, and they said we no longer have 50 room blocks, but instead 25 on Friday night and 25 on Saturday night. This was due to another wedding in the hotel that night, who were getting married in their ballroom. They gave that party 100 rooms blocked, took away from our room blocks and gave us no other options to fix the issue. They told us the other party had only 20 rooms blocked at the time, but refused to book rooms for our guests. They were rude, nasty and so unprofessional. I am lucky that I learned this now, instead of the night of my wedding. We have canceled all rooms and moved to the Short Hills Hilton. It's a huge inconvience, after just sending my invitations out with all the hotel info printed. But they have been very understanding and great to work with so far!! Sorryyy for the long post... but just wanted to assure that everyone knew how horrible this hotel was!
