how many limos?

I feel very lost about the limo thing. I will be getting ready with BMs at my father's house. FI will be at our current house with his WP. Do I get 2 limos? 1 for each house to bring us to church? then FI and I ride in 1 to the reception? Does the WP ride in the other? what about their dates? I figure their cars have to get to the reception hall at some point, so do dates drive alone so WP and we can go take pics?I know this shouldn't be so confusing. Please share what you did about transportation...Thanks!

I had one giant limo. It picked up MH, the groomsmen, and his dad at the hotel and dropped them off at the church. Then the same limo came to get me, my BMs, and my parents and brought us to the church. After the ceremony, it drove MH and I and our entire wedding party to the reception. Our parents carpooled with friends, and the dates of the WP carpooled together.

I had one limo make two trips, but everything was extremely close together. I wouldn't worry about dates transportation.  Our dates went back to the hotel and took the free shuttle to the reception.

We're also doing only 1 limo. Same as pp, its gonna pick up the guys first and them me and the girls. It will take all of us to the reception after. The bridal party guests will prob drive back to the hotel while we take some pic at the church and they will take the shuttle from hotel to reception that we are providing for guests.

We did 2.  The guys got ready at a hotel (with his parents), the girls got ready at the reception venue (with my parents).  The ceremony was at a church.  One limo went from the hotel to the church, the other went from the reception venue to the church.  After the wedding we switched who was in what limo so our parents, sisters and their dates were in one limo, and we were in the other with the rest of the bridal party.

I went with 1 limo... FI and i are getting ready with our BP in our respective places.  I will travel in the Limo with the girls to the pictures place and to the church while the boys will all just car pool to each location.  After the ceremony, then the entire BP and B&G ride together.  The cars they previously drove to the church are driven to the reception by the grooms parents and/or MOB.  This is better for us because we so splurged on a custom limo and didn't want to pay for yet another car.  Yes, I'm worried the guys will be late... but that's why I cushioned their agenda.
