STD Envelopes

Did anyone else hand write the addresses on the envelopes? Or are they supposed to be printed?

I printed addresses on all my STDs and my Invitations and response envelopes. I think technically ettiquette says to hand write them but I don't have beautiful handwriting and I wasn't going to pay for calligraphy if I could print them for free at home in a pretty font.

I used clear labels and printed them at home. I know labels are a no-no, but noone seemed to mind at all and they are all still coming to the wedding.

For std's I justed used clear labels, they aren't formal. For my invites I am going to try to print on the envelope if that doesn't work I'm screwed lol

I only had 50 or so, so I hand wrote them. For the invites, I am printing them directly on the envelope.

I have horrible handwriting so it didn't even occur to me to hand write the envelopes. I used clear labels. I think for STD there is no "supposed to" since they are not required.
