Hey! I'm in too, lol. Been in and out... school started back up and I am not adjusted yet. Plus my new big commute is taking its toll... too tired to knot!

The worst part is, when I park my car at work now, beyond the trees in back is my old house... went from a possible 3 min commute to 60. I know it's nothing compared to most commuters, but since its so new to me, it is totally making me miserable!

I TOTALLY understand, Kathy!  I went from a 10 minute commute to 35 mintues on a good day...took me an hour and 10 minutes on Tuesday!  It's a hard adjustment in the beginning.  Sometimes I wish my car had wings and could fly.

I could never handle a 1 hour commute anymore, a half hour now takes a major toll on me, its the worse thing to get used to, just remember, quarters make good for tossing at cars that cut you off :)

Thanks girls! Luckily, John makes me a coffee to go and packs me a PB&J to eat on the road, so that makes it a little better. If its still too much by the spring, we'll just move back to Monmouth... but I need to see if I just need to adjust since I am most likely simply being a baby.

quarters make good for tossing at cars that cut you off FI and I always joke about doing this. I don't have the balls to actually do it though. There are crazies out there with major road rage!

Awe Kathy he's so cute!  Its always good to see how it goes, options are always available! :)

hahaha, my co worker told me about it, I laughed, never did it, I did once throw a latte at a car I missed but it felt good to try!
  • edited December 2011
I'd be freaking pissed if someone did that to my car.  FI used to throw handfuls of change if someone cut him off and I'd get so mad at him for doing it.

Omg... I wouldnt do that. Imagine your sixth grade teacher got arrested for throwing quarters at someone on the turnpike? The people I've seen on the road haven't been too bad (I drive at 7am), its just the distance that sucks the balls.

LOL, like I said I never did it, the latte thing was definitely necessary, the guy almost killed me, and I Just happened to catch up to him because he hit a light and he started cursing at me when he saw me pull up next to him,   Ive never had the guts to toss anything out of the car, FI's reaction to that is "why the hell you gonna waste change" LOL

hahah your FI has a very good point!

I like Chelsea's phrasing for future calls like this, Cheryl. But while you're still in "YES" mode, can I come as Kathy's guest?
