Just saw that the fourth judge will be Ellen DeGeneres I love her as a talk show host, but as a judge I don't know...aren't you suppose to be in the music business at least a little?

    She said in the article she would be the voice of the people, I'd like to see her and simons interaction though lol

    She did make me laugh with her craziness even though she was never really constructive, I must say I am really looking forward January.

    Hm...I love Ellen, but I'm not sure she's right for the show. But maybe she'll be honest. I just feel like she'll be too "good job, good effort".

    I love ellen. I think she'll be funny, and that's something I think that the show has been missing. None of the judges were ever funny. Well, Simon's kind of funny because he can be really mean but I think she'll be a good addition. Much better than Paula's ramblings.

    Ya I agree, should be interested to see how she criticizes/compliments their musical skills when she hasn't been in the music biz. I don't mind her talk show, but hope she isn't going to be more annoying than Paula !

    whoops clicked post too soon... i dont think it matters if you are in the music biz.  give me a break, these kids can sing, but it's pop, it's just all about looks, singing what i give you, being a presence on stage, and being able to SELL RECORDS.  let me introduce you to my makeup artist, hair person, studio director, voice editor, dance coach... you get my point.  she said in interview she is the people's opinion, i think she'll be great.  paula blows.

    I'm looking forward to seeing this I dvr her talk show, so hopefully ill get to see her announce it, the clip is cute she looks so excited to be saying it.

    I probably wont watch now, what does she have to do with judging music talent.  I dont need the lesbian spokes woman judging singing, it seems like a publicity stunt to me.  I would have much preferred someone who has some music qualification, like reba or celine dion
