DJ Recommedations in the Bergen County Area

Can anyone recommend a wedding DJ who doesn't create a club like atmoshphere?

I think alot of DJ's offer just music and not all the lights and special features. My dj is Alex from ultimateentdjs.com. Its funny you said you didnt want the club vibe, i said the same thing to Alex, but i didnt mind some lights i just didnt want the whole place with strobe lights. He has really good prices check him out.

A Starry Night (www.astarrynight.com).  We used her.  No lights, no smoke, no gimmicks, no announcements except for the bare minimum (or none if you don't want any).Aria Melody (www.ariamelody) is the same style.  They're both of the mindset that you don't need to have gimmicks and cheesiness to get everyone up on the dance floor-- all you need is good music.

I would highly recommend Premier Entertainment in East Rutherford.   We used them a few weeks ago at our wedding and they were awesome.  They were great to work with and it wasn't a club atmosphere at all.

We booked Ultimate Entertainment DJs as well. But were looking for more of a party - get on your feet all night - kind of feel - but not clubby with the videos and smoke and all that. I think he is versatile and could fit the bill for what you're looking for. I'd also recommend colorblind productions even though we didn't book them because the first thing Rob said to us was -we're more of the stand back and let the party happen type. So I think they would definitely fit what you're looking for.

I definitely recommend my DJ, Lifetime Entertainment from Union, NJ.  Let me know if you need their contact information - annieandmikey at gmail.com.  They have all sorts of different packages - lighting, setup, etc.  They're great to work with, laid back and very easy going.

I'm using Elite Sound in Saddle Brook as well. 2 friends used them this year, and I was at both weddings. I definitely disagree about them being a club DJ! The only thing that reminded me of a club was the up lights they used. They played all kinds of music.
