i like this one much better: less pictures, cleaner design, assuming sqiggly part is your names and website.  good.  "formal invitation.." seems a bit off-center.  colors look a bit weird on my computer, is that pink or red?

not that I can tell...but it's hard to say when most of it is blurred out.  I'm assuming you have the city, state where you'll be getting married. It also looks like you probably have your wedding website.  That looks good to me.  Only thing I added in addition was hotel information on the back, but that is because we have ALOT of OOT guests.

agree with Allie the the "Formal Invitation" part is off center.

I like the second one much better. I don't think you need initial caps, but if you want to keep "date" capped, I'd at least lowercase "the." Ditto on the rest of the wording...initial caps look amateur to me, but if you really want them, keep them consistent (e.g., "will follow" isn't capped). Even with initial caps, I wouldn't cap prepositions (of, the, etc.) unless it's the first word on a line. Also, the formal invitation line doesn't look centered. Is it a different font and size? I'd use the same font, just the ital version.I'm not sure about the leading (space between lines) because the blurred words make it hard to tell.

its pink and youre right the formal invitation is off center, thanks ill fix that - we also have a ton of oot guest so that would be good to add - Thanks guys im gonna have my FI check it when he gets home - he IS a graphic designer LOL but he is always so busy - i figured i would give this a shot myself !

Thanks melissa - those are good suggestions i didnt even notice - i wouldnt have squiggled anything out but last time i put something on a message board ( i dont remember if it was the knot or not) that contained my last name or my hometown i got scolded by other members lol - so thats why i did that.

I would do the same! Just wanted to point it out so you could check on the original. But if your FI's a graphic artist, I'm sure he'll do that.

What program are you working in? I'd bleed the orange bar off the page on top and bottom.

I definitely like the second one better as well. Save the Date (lowercase the)For the wedding of (lowercase the wedding of) I'm using the same colors and love it! I like the black writing on the pink much better. I would def. bleed the orange bar from top to bottom and you could even do another one horizontal (kind of like a bow) to add more texture and highlight the date. very cute! FI should be impressed. :)Or maybe do three pictures stacked on the left side instead of two? I like the multiple pictures.

I'm not sure if someone else mentioned this already (only skimmed the responses) but on the second STD, is the orange stripe supposed to go all the way to top edge? Right now it doesn't go all the way to the top and there's some pink showing.

Thanks guys - FI came home and critqued - he was IMPRESSED !! yaaaay me!!!He did bleed the orange and centered everything. Those were his only corrections. Now the problem is getting it to look right on vistaprint.... did anyone else have this issue - when we upload it it looks pixalated and blurry on vistaprint   FI doesnt want to order them if they are gonna look like that. ugggggggggh

Is it the whole thing that looks pixelated or just the images?Are you using the correct size and high-res images? Just a word of caution, Vista isn't always good with their cutting, and obviously it's more apparent on things that are full-bleed if they do a poor job.

Thanks Chelsea - we did check that out already Melissa - its not the images that are pixalated, its the words soo weird

What program did you use to create it? When you start the project you should at least double the size the final version will be so that you don't get that pixelated view. If you're in photoshop or illustrator try to increase the image size.

thanks Jamie - I am using illustrator - FI is asleep now - but tommorow ill have him try and do that, ill let you know if it works

maybe try and upload just the images...but add the text in via the website. You can add text boxes, etc.  Or just try recreating it on vistaprint.
