Drinking wine, on hold with the cable company (have been for most of the past 40 minutes), getting some work done so I won't have to work ALL weekend, and waiting for my husband to get home from his hellish day. But I'm getting kittens tomorrow so I'm in a good mood!

ok ladies, I've decided to roll my butt off the couch (that's for you Cheryl) and go to my friend's house.  I'm going in my pajama pants, long sleeved shirt, and glasses.  That's how unmotivated I am.  I'll be back in a little bit...hopefully a little tipsy!

I'm SO EXCITED. I LOVE cats. We lost our family cat (who lived with my parents) three years ago, and in the last year or so I finally got to a place that I know I'm ready to love again and start a cat family. For my 30th birthday, my husband gave me a cat carrier and said we could get one. I sobbed uncontrollably for like an hour, and teared up every time I told anyone that night. I'm so pathetic!!! We moved three weeks ago to a bigger apartment, are pretty settled, and I have all the stuff we need. So tomorrow's the day. So excited!

I'm here... hubby and I just finished eating some of grandma's eggplant and chicken parm. Took the pup out for a quick walk and now I'm sipping on coffee. I think I'm getting a cold! I have to kick it ASAP!

Thats great!  When FI and I moved in we decided to add another cat to the family, and went through so much to pick her out.  I am a cat lover too, and always had them, our family dog passed a few years ago and 6 months to the day later the family cat (his best friend) passed too, my mom was heart broken (as was I) Cute story about Chloe (cat in the picture) we went to the foster home to get another cat and I was sitting on the couch and Chloe came up to me walked on my shoulder and nuzzled me and licked my nose, I was set on her from that moment! (psa, the other cat was adopted 3 days after we decided to take Chloe lol)

My kitty who passed away was Chloe too. I really do feel that cats pick you sometimes, and not the other way around!

Awe!  So totally picked me, and now she's my baby, its so bad she sleeps with me practically spooning her, refuses to be far away. Ive always been with cats, even my exroommate had two, my mom doesn't have one now, shes just taken to the dog, and we are trying to see when my sis and bro are ready to bring one in for their daughter. Also, my christmas gift to my best friend is going to be a cat (with her permission of course and I've asked already) shes in a new condo by herself and wants a companion!  So if you see any already declawed black cats let me know thats her dream!   (we dont believe in declawing, but I always feel bad for the ones that are)
