Few Invite Questions

Okay this will be the last of them for me, I'm doing envelopes today and thats all!1. I have a few "families" Mother Father 16 and 20 yr old and a family with a 16 year old and a grandmother, They all live together obviously- do I send the children and grandmother an individual invite individual invites (grandmother has demitia btw), and if not, how do I put that on the outter and inner?2.  People who live together but aren't married do I put them Ms. her name and Mr. his name on outter?3. On inner, if I know the name of the person they are dating do I put the persons name (don't live together) or just "and guest"Hope this makes sense, I'll do anything I just want it done!TIA!

This is what I did when doing my invites:1.  I put the mother and father only on the outer, then listed everyone on the inner envelope.2.  If they lived together I put both on the outer enveloped and listed Ms. her name & Mr. His name.3.  Yes, if you know the name put it on the inner envelope.

Thanks!  I'm trying to save on invites, and my thing is if a guest (that still lives at home and parents are invited) are not being invited with a guest they are not getting their own lol.

This is how I'm going to do it - PS I'm not doing inner envelopes at all, so all these answers are for outers. 1) Mr. & Mrs. Mother and Father and Family (for children under 18 in that family) and 20 year old gets their own separate invite. Some may say it's a waste of paper, but as an adult over 18 they should receive their own invitation, IMO. I'm DIY'ing so it's no extra cost to me, but you can totally make that call for your own situation 2) I'm putting each name of the person in the couple listed separately "Ms. Friend O'Mine and Mr. Her Boyfriend/Fiance" on the outer. 3) If I know the name (and thanks to Facebook I can TOTALLY get the name on the sly LOL) I'll write it out on the outer, because it's nice :-) HTH!

Viva, I thought the same thing about the 20 year old, but I have 92 people on my list and only 90 invites...I DIY as well. (I wasnt' suppose to have this many people on the list!)

Cheryl--is the 20 year old invited with a guest??

No, if he was I would have to find a separate invite LOL, this is family and the cousins/fsiblings that are dating someone seriously are getting invites with guest.

ok, I hit reply too early....If the 20 year old is invited with a guest I would probably send a separate invite.

Oh I get it - then screw it, lump them in with the family. :-) It's only if you COULD do it, but hey limited invites are a totally legit reason not to get their own.

got it--then you should be good with just listing them all on the inner envelope if they live with mom and dad

What I did:1. Mr. and Mrs. John Doe and Family - I only did this on three invites and they were all family. I didn't think my older cousins would care if they got their own invitations.2. Mr John Smith    Ms. Jane Doe3. I didn't do inners, but if you know the bf/gf's name, I would put it.

This is what I did:1. Mr. and Mrs. John Doe      Jamie and Michael2.  Mrs. Super and Mr. Grouch3.  If you know the name put it on the inner and I'd also do the outer.
