Oak Island, NC Wedding

I am looking to get married on Oak Island and was wondering if anyone else got married there and any advice they can give! My mom and I are planning this our selves and I need a good starting point. Thanks for any help!

    We are not getting married there but have a beach house there and have seen weddings there before. The oak island website has plenty of places to look into for vendors. http://www.southport-oakisland.com/meetingspace/index.htm

    Also http://www.oakislandncweddings.com/ is a complete wedding package company I've heard about there.

    I'm getting married in Southport this weekend, which is right there at Oak Island. If you need any recommendations for rentals/photography/etc just ask!

    Congrats on your wedding!! Hope everything went well! Did you get married on the beach? We are looking at renting chairs so I was wondering if you went that route and had a good rental company you used!
