Please do! My venue lost their in house pastry chef and they are now using Palermo's. Makes me nervous after I tasted a great cake from my venue.

They're pretty popular so I wouldn't be too worried.  Just because you had a good cake at the venue doesn't mean everywhere else will be bad.  See if you can schedule a tasting yourself without having to book a cake with them.

The were my venue's preferred bakery and they were AWESOME. Paulie was awesome to work with and my cake was just what I wanted it (I can forward a photo if you want to see it). Everyone told me it tasted great.

Yes my venue uses that bakery. I went for a tasting I posted my experience a couple of months ago on this board. Sorry I don't know how to search for old posts. I had a good experience with them. I love the cake we picked and their samples tasted great.

I guess I'm the only one who wasn't that impressed. I went for a tasting there with my BF (who was going to use them for wedding/grooms cake) and really didn't like what they had to offer. I wasn't impressed with the cake, or the fillings for that matter. I felt as though Le Petit Gauteau was much better. ( my friend ended up using them). Just my opinion.
