Tahiti Honeymooners?

Hi Ladies,Anyone going, or have gone to Tahiti on their honeymoon?  If so, have you booked excursions yet, or will you wait until you arrive?  For brides who have already gone, are there any must sees or restaurants you would suggest? Thanks!!

Tiff When are you going to Tahiti?  We are leaving the 25th of October arriving the 26th.  We are doing 2 days in an overwater bungalow in Tahiti and then a 10 day cruise of the different Islands.  We are in the midst of booking excursions.  The 3 things I want to do is  a motu picnic, pearl farming and horseback riding.  I know we are probably going to do a 4x4 tour as well.

How exciting, it will be here so soon!We are leaving on November 3.  Moorea first then Bora Bora.  Those excursions sound great!  Thanks for the suggestions.

we are going in january and we will book most of our excursions when we get there as i have read that if you go to people right out side of the hotel instead of booking through the hotel it is much cheaper. we are doing 4 nights in moorea and we plan to do a 4x4 jeep safari there, not sure what else there. in bora bora ( i forget the name of it ) but its the underwater safari where they take you out and the tour guide feeds the sting rays and the black tip reef sharks while you snorkle around and hold onto a magic rope. we are also going to do the jet ski tour. there is a lagoonarium (sp?) tour that our travel agent booked for us as a thank you gift for using her company which will be booked in advance for bora bora. she is also going to book us reservations in advance for dinner at villa mahalo ( sp?) but other than those two we will decide when we get there. sorry that is long. hope you have a great time
