Florists in NJ

My wedding is July 2010, and I am now looking for a florists. I would like to recommendations and opinions on local florists. I will be getting married in Belmar, NJ. Please include information with prices.  Also has anyone ever used tulips in their bouqets???? in the summer??thank you

    prices for flowers are going to vary greatly on what type of flowers you use, the season, etc. i used Petal Beach in West Long Branch.  Bonnie was wonderful to work with and my flowers were beautiful.  price wise they not the lowest but also not the highest of the florists i considered.

    I am using tulips in Mid May and that is sort of the end of tulip season.  You will most likely have to pay a higher price to have tulips in the summer.  I am using Marquis Florals in Marlboro for my wedding next May.

    I used Jacqueline's in South Amboy...info and review in bio.   I have heard of tulips in the spring but not in the summer.  They maybe out of season.

     lovbulldgs - i am going to meet with marquis florals this saturday! Someone else recommended them to me as well.Kittycleo - I'm also meeting with Kirk Florists in Farmingdale, a friend of mine used them and said they were very creative and reasonable.

    Good luck on Saturday.  I thought Kim at Marquis was really great.  She has a nice showroom.  I brought some pictures with my colors we are using and she also has a some books for you to look through.

    I second Bonnie from Petal Beach. My wedding is in November, so far everything has been great, she's been wonderfu to work with. Prices vary so much, so that's hard to say. Compared to some others that I looked at she was a smidge more money, but had so much more to offer too, so I felt she was worth it.

    I am using Peter from Peter James Floral Couture. I would also reccomend Bonnie from Petal Beach.
