How many hair trials before you decided?

I'm all over the place on deciding on a hair style I like! I haven't even settled on whether I want it up/down, smooth, bang/no bang/pulled to the side. I'm 5 1/2 months out and would like to schedule a trial in the next month. I certainly dont have the cash to schedule multiple trials :( How many trials did it take for you to decide on a style? Is one enough?

1I guess I generally have an idea of how I like my hair best.  I did my trial and booked the girl on the spot. I then looked over the trial pictures and decided to sweep my hair back instead of to the side.  The day of I told her what I wanted and she did it perfect. I didn't feel the need to have to have another trial. I knew my girl had the ability to do what I wanted.

It was 2 trials for me. I knew I wanted a bun/chignon, just had to find a stylist who would come to my bridal suite. Found a great stylist at Saks in Hackensack and my hair was perfect on WD.

Because of the tons of rave reviews Michelle LoConte gets on here for hair, I actually sent her a retainer. So that is who will be doing it. I've seen a ton of pics of her work and trust she can do what I want, problem is I cant make up my mind!!! Grrrr!!!!

I had 1 trial about 6 weeks before the wedding. I ended up not liking the style I picked on me... So I told the stylist and she created exactly what I wanted on our WD.

I got one trial and decided I didnt love it and changed it for the day of. I wasnt going to pay another 100 bucks so I just trusted my stylist to do it based on pics and my explanation.

LOL you girls make me laugh, I think I must be the most unusual of all....I booked my best friend's sister in law 18 months before my wedding (she did my hair once 5 years before for my brother's wedding). I had my trial 1 week before my wedding -- she pulled it up, but on my tiara all in less than 15 minutes -- I loved what she did and we decided on the hair do ... I left her salon in less than 45 minutes and she told me I was her easiest bride ever!!!

Three trials for me. It's really upsetting when I think about how much money I spent on them.

I've had a deposit with Michelle for probably like 8 months or so.  I've yet to go for a hair trial and I'm under 4 months.  I know nothing about hair and haven't even had time to look up hair styles.  I'm hoping to do that within the next month so I can go for a trial.

    0. I decided on a stylist too late in the game to care to have one. I showed stylist pics and as long as my hair looks well crafted and close enough I am confident that he won't F up my hair to say the least....lol.

Only 1, and I went two weeks before wedding. I also used my regular hair guy.

I had my second one today with my stylist.  I loved it, FI didn't.  And he really hated my makeup.  :(  I'm not going for another trial though - just trusting my stylist.
