    yea, there's not supposed to be a smiley face before the reception. sorry.My questions:- my dad is a dead beat and is not included, is it okay to just put mom's name like First Last or do I put Ms. or Mrs.? - FI's mom is no longer with us, but his father remarried many years ago.  Does FI's fathers wife belong here?- How many people actually put the little bit about the reception following the ceremony at the end?

    The wording looks good. I don't know what to say about parents. Are you having a reception insert?

    1. I would write Ms. First Last name 2. how close is FI to his father's wife? Has she at least been friendly and helpful during the planning? If there's no tension/bad blood, then I would add her to make his father happy. 3. If you have a reception card then I would not add the part about the reception following the ceremony on the invitation. Looks good!

    No reception phrase if you have the reception card.

    I would add Ms./Mrs. I agree with pp about taKing reception bit off. I would think that adding his stepmom on there is totally contingent on their relationship.
