Marriage license in Bloomfield?

My FI and I took next Friday off---2 weeks before the wedding---to take care of some last minute things and the marriage license. My primary residence is Bloomfield, NJ---anybody know the requirements? Will a passport from both of us and bringing my Mom as a witness be enough? Is there a website where i can find out?

I dont know how much it varies from town to town but Passaic told me that we each needed drivers license to verify our addresses, birth certificate or passport, a witness over 18, and $28. I called yesterday and couldnt get an appointment until October 5, only 6 days before my wedding. They acted like I was crazy for not knowing that I should have called months in advnace for an appointment!

I went in Belleville, and my drivers license was enough, but I brought my passport just in case.

WOW I would call because I needed to bring proof of my SS number, my license, birth cert and a witness over 18 that knows both of us along with the 28 bucks to pay for it.  So it seems that all towns are different so to be on the safe side I would call them.

We just got ours in Hoboken, where we live. We brought passports, a bill showing home address, a witness, and something else that showed my address. We also both needed documents that showed our social security #s (we both brought tax returns). We didn't need an appt and we were told that we have to pick up the license 72 hours later (but both of us didn't need to be present). FI found the info of what we needed to bring on a nj.gov site. He said that the info that you need doesn't vary by county or township fyi. when you are there, the person you deal with will ask you questions (you should download the paperwork to look it over), like where your parents were born, etc.
