Bouquet trial

I'm just curious as to how many of you had a sample bouquet made before you booked your florist (or after). If you did, how much did it cost? Flowers aren't a huge priority for me, but I think I'd be a bit bummed if my bouquet didn't turn out the way I was hoping. I'm wondering if a trial is worth it and how common it is to have one done. We haven't booked a florist yet. This is just a random question while I'm thinking of it. TIA

I didn't get a trial for my bouquet only my CP. He didn't charge me for it and he let me keep it and that was before we signed a contract and booked him. I actually never thought to do one for the bouquet, I would also say the bouquet is not super high on my priority list. I just brought a picture in of what I wanted and he said he would duplicate it. If it's a concern of yours I think you should def ask for a trial.

No, but mine is just all calla lilies and nothing else. I gave my florist a picture, I imagine it's simple to do.

I only had a centerpiece trial. But she completely nailed what I wanted for my bouquet.

I had a trial of the boquet - no charge. Glad I did because it looked great in the photo I gave her and she duplicated it exactly but when I saw it in person it was blah and she worked with me to get it right.

I got a mock up after I booked. It was right before the wedding. No extra charge. And I was okay with booking without a trial because my cousin used to work for this florist so I knew she wouldn't let me book with someone who did sh!t work.

When I went to really finalize what I wanted they grabbed a bunch of the flowers and made a quick mock up showing me what they would or could do. It didnt cost me anything.

I had a trial for my bouquet and bm bouquet. I am glad I did bc I am super particular about them. Now, I am at ease that nailed the look I want. My florist did not charge.
