Help - need ideas for candy buffet!!

Hi ladies:so we are doing a candy buffet as our favors - cool right?!  The place where we are getting married provides the bags, but they are plain clear bags, so I might buy organza bags - more fancy right? My question is I wanted to make a sign and put it on that table so guests know the candy is their favor. What should it say?  We are having an entire dessert station, so I want to make sure the candy buffet (their favor) doesnt get lost and people dont realize thats their favor.THanks!!

if you decide to use the clear bags, you can order a sticker label that is personalized so it might get the point across more clearly. You can also buy an 8x10 frame and put "Sweet dreams...Love and then your names" so they will know it is from you

We used clear bags-- I'm not a fan of organza. We ordered labels for them. Our candy was out all night, not just during dessert (and people helped themselves throughout the night). The candy table wasn't near the dessert table really. We put a sign that said "Sweets for the suite (or the ride home)." I think that gets the point across. But I wouldn't worry if people don't realize that it is their favor-- I'm pretty sure if I was at a wedding and there was no favor at all I wouldn't even notice. Or I would be happy that there would be no cheap little picture frame gathering dust in my apartment until I get to Goodwill next.

I don't think the sign needs to be blunt and spell out that it's actually they favor. I think most people will either figure it out or not even notice or care that there isn't a traditional favor. The only other thing I could think of to drive home the point that that's their favor, is putting the organza bag at each place setting with a tag or sticker letting them know that there's a candy buffet and they should use that bag to fill up. But really I don't think you need to go through all that.

I helped my sister do her buffet - it was a big hit, of course! I ordered organza bags from papermart dot com... best prices around!!! wide variety of colors! I added a tag to the bags, I think it said "Love's So Sweet" with their names and date on the back. I think if you wanted to put a sign up, as long as it says "Thank You" somehow, people will understand that it's their favor. Our vendor put the candy out after the cake was cut because they said if you put it out early, it will be gone before dinner, and you're dropping $100 pp, you don't want them to have candy for dinner! :-) we got most of our candy from bulkfoods dot com... Her colors were grey and yellow - so I got mostly chocolate, whites, yellow and a few punchy colors (like red shoelaces, and mixed mini-hersey bars). The pallette was delicious! :-) We also had dried mixed fruit there too, for healthy people...
