Save the Date etiquette

When sending STD's, do you send one per household, or one for each person that would later receive a separate invitation (in the same household)?

I would address them the same as you plan on addressing your invites.

Also, do you write "and Guest" for STD's or do you hold off for the invitation for that?

    I didn't do and guest

Will be doing the same as Cheryl - I'm doing magnets attached to a card. One per household and not writing and guest.

I sent one to every invited guest. I wanted to do that and put the and guest on the STD so there was no confusion and everyone knew they were invited with a guest.

I did one per household. To me it's silly to send three magnets when there's only one fridge. You know your family and friends best...if there are any etiquette sticklers, it doesn't hurt to send more, but in most cases I think it's unnecessary. If the guest was part of a couple, then both names were on there. I didn't do "& guest" on most single STDs, even though pretty much everyone is getting a guest. I did add it for some people who I thought would get riled up thinking they weren't getting a guest.

if married, one per couple.if single, one per invited guest.there was only 1 case i put two names bc they were both young (18 & 21 years old) and from the same family where i was already sending 3 sTDs!

I'm doing one per household since I'm doing magnets. I figure no one wants more than one of those on their fridge!

I sort of regreted sending save-the-dates to people who I wasn't very close with. I told my sister when she sent hers, to only send them to those peole whom she "really" wanted to come!
