Motivation to lose weight

So I have this goal of losing 20 pounds before the wedding (though it's ok if it doesn't happen). So far I've lost 5 pounds, but that's the easy water weight so I know I have a hard time ahead of me. Today when I was getting dressed for work I accidentally put on a pair of pants I couldn't even button last year. So "yay" that they can button, but geez they are suffocating me (especially when I sit down). I think these have officially become my "work pants" so that I stay motivated to lose enough that I'm no longer being tortured by my own clothes.

    Rock on and good luck!!!  I am sure you can do it!  I had motivation before but now that I found out I am between 2 sizes for my wedding dress I am going to kick it into extar high gear!  If you need someone to gripe too that you cant have a piece of cake feel free to page me... I know the feeling. LOL

    Woo hoo Mishy!  I thought I would get the motivation and it hasn' hit yet. I'm really disappointed in myself that I didn't lose any weight. I'll probably regret it, but oh well, it's pretty much too late now.

    Congrats on the 5 lbs and buttoning the pants!!  I have been trying to maintain my weight and then push for the last 10lbs and tone up over the last 6 months.  If I start too early I will lose my focus :(

    Congrats on the 5 lbs!! im also trying to lose 20lbs. My dress fits me perfectly but i would like to be 20lbs lighter on my wedding day - my wedding is in april - but i would like to lose 20lbs by jan. That is when i turn the big 3-0!! so i would love to reach my goal by then Good luck to you !

    congrats and good luck!  I've plateau'd after losing 10 lbs.  Now I just need to make sure I don't gain it back.  I'm almost done with my fittings, but it would be really nice if I could lose at least 5 more.  30 Day Shred is a great workout if you're interested.  I just moved up to level 2 and I am so sore today.

    Congrats on the 5 lbs. Water weight is not easy for everyone to lose. I want to lose 35 before the wedding but will settle for 20. I think everyone needs a pair of motivation jeans/pants/shirts. Because it's hard to see your own progress. I couldn't fit into a single pair of last years shorts thi summer and it was so disappointing. Last week I was able to fit into a pair- luckily GA has another few weeks of warm weather. So I know how rewarding that feeling is!

    do a lot of weight lifting...im telling you..you won't shed poinds but will shed inches! the more muscle you have the more lbs. you will lose during normal daily activities! don't worry about the weight #...worry about the size # best of luck! i am sure you will look great!
